It definitely started after an update sometime late 2021. But the laptop speakers themselves, I can barely hear them.
However, ALL my OTHER sound devices work perfect - couple different Bluetooth audio devices, my headphones plugged directly into the laptop, etc., no problems at all. Everything works as it should except at its loudest, the Cooler Master fan I use to dissipate heat almost drowns it out. Laptop speakers, they are on, I can hear that they are there, all of the volume controls work, the balance works, enhancements can be turned on and off and I can hear sound, but ever so slightly.
